I’ve been dealing with neck pain on and off for years now and it only seems to get worse as I get older. It’s the same thing every time, go to bed fine, wake up with a stiff neck that takes two days to straighten out. Pisses me off something fierce!
I’ve tried every damn pillow out there, cheap ones from Walmart, K-Mart, Bed, Bath & Beyond, same result. What really pisses me off is that there is no rhyme or reason, just happens. I’m sure it’s related to my sleeping position, but with wife, two dogs and an occasional kid in bed, there is no consistent sleep pattern, only consistent tossing and turning.
My latest pillow was a $100 memory foam gig from the local furniture store. It’s expensive, so it must work right? Well, it’s done better than most, but the neck gremlin bastards still get me. So imagine my delight when I read an article on CNN talking about neck pain in men and sleep studies. The article quoted a chiropractor who mentioned a pillow that had been highly rated during a sleep study and is the #1 recommended pillow by chiropractors, or so it says.
So I introduce you to the Chiroflow pillow. It had all the marketing jazz, 4 out of 5 dentist stuff, yada, yada, and a nice video.
Reviews looked good, only $50, so I thought what the hell. I would have liked a king size option, but it sounded so good, I got one for me and the wife. I’ve been sleeping on it for three nights now and absolutely love the damn pillow. I added 3L of water to give it medium firmness and my head just sinks into the pillow no matter what position my head is it. I’ll update this post if the neck demons hit me, but the early results are promising. The Chiroflow website lists where you can buy the pillow, or just dial it up on the internet below.
If you have one or try it after reading this, let me know in the comments below!
